Our aim is to help prevent future exposure of construction operatives and others to asbestos fibres and to assist our Clients to carry out their duties under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.

Tweeds are able to provide a service to Clients, which can effectively Project Manage the operations necessary to comply with the new duties and we have obtained an HSE licence and invested in the training of personnel to provide the following services:

• Provide informed advice and guidance
• Liaise with the client to produce an Asbestos Policy and procedure to manage asbestos containing materials
• Establish the competency of suitably qualified Asbestos Surveying Consultants and Contractors
• Prepare tender documentation to determine location and extent of materials and evaluate and report on returns
• Monitor conformity and progress during the survey process
• Provide cost estimates and recommendations on management of the findings of the survey
• Manage the removal process
• Assist in the implementation of management systems
• Provide guidance and training to staff and others
