DESCRIPTION: Redevelopment of the former Headquarters of Marks and Spencer in the UK, comprising stripping out existing back to shell (clearance contract including removing asbestos), followed by Main Contract of demolition works including removing all existing stair, lift and service shafts and replacing with slab to provide totally open existing floorplate; add new external stairs, lifts and toilet cores and main entrance; plus adding 15% office floorplate all fully finished to CAT A+ standard with allowance for ground floor retail and basement health club shells. The scheme comprises offices, small retail space and a health club, with 20 mews houses at the rear of the development.
