DESCRIPTION:
The Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations (2002) impose duties upon the building owner to manage the hazard of Asbestos. To comply with these onerous duties, the Trust were keen to have a Type 2 survey carried out on the entire Estate of Blackburn Royal Infirmary, Queens Park Hospital, Park Lee Hospital and various residential properties. Tweeds Project Services developed, on behalf of the Trust, the procurement of surveying, introduction of the Register, identification and management of removal works.
